General physical examinationInitial examination starts as soon as the pet is in the examination room. But our health care team member while you are in the lobby can already start collection of information on your pet’s health.Physical examination gives a lot of information; size, breed, age, general condition, gait, skin and coat e.t.c.
Our veterinarian performs general medical examination in order to assess the general medical condition of your pet’s organism as a whole.
Сomplete physical examination includes the assessment of your pet’s eyes, ears, skin, cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, skeletal, urogenital and respiratory system for any abnormalities. Blood tests can be recommended and performed as necessary to assess the proper functioning of your pet’s kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system including the thyroid gland and adrenal glands. Urine and fecal tests can also be recommended if required. Depending on your pet’s condition, we may recommend further functional diagnostic tests such as radiography (X-rays), ultrasound or electrocardiography.
