Laboratory tests

A true professional will not risk confirming the diagnosis of disease without a laboratory test. Lab test helps to objectively aid and confirm the findings on physical examination. Since a lot of diagnoses are practically impossible to verify without laboratory test, a lab test in extremely important. We perform various test using modern lab equipment and the results are available within a short time. We perform the following laboratory tests:

Blood tests can be recommended and performed as necessary to assess the proper functioning of your pet’s kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system including the thyroid gland and adrenal glands. Urine and fecal tests can also be recommended if required.

The following test can be perform on BioChem BA:

• Enzymes: ALT, АSТ, LDG, gGT, a-amylase, Phosphatase, Creatinase;
• Organic and inorganic substrates: Albumin, Bilirubin, Heamoglobin, Glycoheamoglobin, Glucose, Urea, Creatine, Total protein, Globulin, Cholesterol, triglycerides;
• Electrolytes: Potassium, Sodium, Calcium, Chloride, Phosphor, Zinc;
• Immunochemistry: Immunoglobulin A, М, G, compliment С3, С4

We also use fully automated hematology analyzer PCE-90Vet for complete blood count. This apparatus is capable of analyzing 18 parameters of the blood sample including a differential count of leucocytes and prepares histogram.
